Four days and Two hours ago, we made the last trip to Jules Vet.
Despite the cool evening, we put the window down so Callie could enjoy the fresh air.
Too tired to even hold her head up completely, she instead relied on the car door.
On the way, we stopped and got her a hot dog and some ice cream. She lost energy, and interest, halfway through the ice cream, and we knew that we were doing the right thing.
She fought the sedation for a while but in the end, she succumbed to the bliss. She was my beautiful Golden Nugget. She was my Shadow. And she’ll always be with me. #Callie #dogsofig #dogsofinstagram #andtheycallitpuppylove
